A Trip to the RSC Theatre? To automate, or not to automate… that is the question!
I will be presenting at the Royal Society of Chemistry Theatre at Lab Innovations 2017 on the 1st November, which is being held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, UK.
The Theatre is on the show floor and will feature keynote addresses from Adam Rutherford, geneticist, author and broadcaster, and Jude Pullen, chemist and design engineer.
I will be talking about automated laboratory solutions; from sample prep to data analysis, and aim to showcase some of the great solutions that are now available.
Automation in laboratories is well established, but with the new generation of robotic solutions, the possibilities for a fully automated method have increased. Manual tasks previously performed by lab technicians can now be fully controlled by software and data output linked to external systems for on-line analysis solutions.
