Residual Solvents Analysis Using an Agilent Intuvo 9000 GC with 8697 Headspace Sampler
Residual solvent analysis was performed on an Agilent 8697 headspace sampler with the Agilent Intuvo 9000 gas chromatograph (GC). The Intuvo 9000 GC was equipped with dual columns and dual flame ionization detectors (FID) using the D2 accessory for the second FID.
Analysis of the Release of N-Nitrosamines Using the Agilent 8890 Gas Chromatography System and 8255 Nitrogen Chemiluminescence Detector
N-nitrosamines from rubber teats and soothers are detected using an Agilent 8890 gas chromatography system configured with an Agilent 8255 nitrogen chemiluminescence detector (NCD). The resulting low detection limit, good linearity and repeatability demonstrate a simple and reliable method for N-nitrosamine analysis without hydrocarbon interference
Accelerated Determination of Microplastics in Environmental Samples Using Thermal Extraction Desorption-Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (TED-GC/MS)
This application note presents a thermal extraction desorption-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (TED-GC/MS) method that is well suited to automation and increased sample throughput. The method is also able to detect all particle sizes in the sample as long as the limit of detection (LOD) is reached and allows analysis of larger samples of 15 to 25 mg or more.

Quantitative Analysis of 210 Veterinary Drugs in Organ Meat Using the Agilent 6470 Triple Quadrupole LC/MS
This application note demonstrates the applicability of the Agilent Comprehensive Veterinary Drug dMRM Solution for the screening of 210 target residues in organ meat. The described method features a single-cartridge sample preparation protocol and fast LC separation for comprehensive target analysis, covering more than 28 different chemical classes.
High-Throughput (Sub-2.5 Second) Direct Injection Analysis by Mass Spectrometry
Using mass spectrometry (MS) as a primary screening technique can be a long, tedious process. This Application Note presents a modified Agilent RapidFire high‑throughput MS system (RapidFire) that bypasses SPE desalting and enables a sub-2.5 second sample throughput rate, making the analysis of 35,000 samples a day possible.
