Kevin joined Anatune in late 2020 and quickly progressed into the position of UK & Ireland Sales Manager in April 2021.

Bringing a wealth of experience and commercial acumen to our team, Kevin will drive the performance of our Commercial Team. He will also bring in new ideas to help us continue to optimise Anatune’s customer service.

As Kevin explains:

“After studying for my Master’s at the University of Sheffield in 2006, I joined Varian Inc (now Agilent Technologies) as a graduate trainee. In this role I gained a detailed understanding of their Organic and Inorganic product lines before going on to successfully manage the East of England Sales Territory for over 3 years.

In 2011, I went on to cover an EMEA&I territory for a laser ablation company and enjoyed travelling and meeting customers across that region. After a successful period, in 2016 I joined JSB as a Country Manager in the UK. From there I Joined LECO to help grow their Separation Sciences Business.

In 2021, I became the UK & Irish Sales Manager here at Anatune. I’m very excited to be leading a fantastic team of individuals passionate about innovative analytical solutions and the very best customer service.

In my free time I’m an active member of the CrossFit community and enjoy travelling, distance running and walking my dog.”

Kumul Patel, Account Manager, Midlands & South-East

In May 2021, we were very happy to welcome Kumul Patel to the team. Kumul is taking over Kevin’s previous role and will be Anatune’s Account Manager for the Midlands & South East. Kumul brings a whole host of experience alongside side new ideas. As he explains:

“Shortly after graduating from the University of Bradford with a Master’s in Chemistry with Medicines Development in 2015, I began my career at a pharmaceutical company as an Analytical and Solid-state Scientist.

During this time, I was exposed to a fast-paced CRO environment. I performed characterisation of APIs using many analytical techniques such as HPLC, as well as solid-state techniques such as XRD, SEM, NMR, DSC, TSC.

In 2018, I moved into Account Management at VWR, part of Avantor. In 2020, also whilst at VWR, I became a Chemical & Chromatography Specialist.

I joined Anatune in May 2021 and can’t wait to get going. I’m eager to meet and collaborate with as many of our customers as possible. And to provide them with the best service possible, of course!

In my spare time, I’m a keen traveller and enjoy visiting different countries to immerse myself in different cultures. I enjoy baking and socialising with family and friends.”

Andrew Jenks, Digital Marketing Manager

In April, Anatune also welcomed Andrew Jenks to the team who has joined in the role of Digital marketing Manager. This is a key position for Anatune as we look to expand our marketing activity.

Andrew is a digital specialist with experience in a diverse range of industries and as he explains:

“I studied at the University of Brighton and graduated with a BA Hons in Criminology & Sociology in 2006. From there, I developed a career in digital communications, gaining experience from industries including neuroscience, high-performance vehicles and automotive technology. I’ve previously worked as digital marketing management for both brands and agencies such as McLaren Automotive, KHWS, Aon Corp, and Jellyfish.

I joined Anatune in April 2021 as Digital Marketing Manager at what is a very exciting point in Anatune’s history. I’m very much looking forward to doing all I can to transform how Anatune engages and interacts with our audiences, whilst offering as much value as possible to the wider scientific community.

Away from work I have a passion for sport (cricket, golf, football, rugby, F1…you name it…), and like to travel alongside study of modern history. I also ran my own fine wine business for a few years so I always enjoying keeping up-to-date with as much wine as I can…”
