I have been involved with the Royal Society of Chemistry Food group for several years and this year, we organised a joint meeting with the RSC separation science group at Burlington House in London. Anatune were Gold sponsor of this meeting, which was entitled: Advances in the Chemical Analysis of Food. We had over 50 attendees for what turned out to be a very successful meeting.

The scientific programme consisted of 4 sessions, with Hans-Gerd Janssen from the University of Amsterdam and Unilever, giving the plenary lecture. This was followed by speakers from academia, and industry covering a range of topics and analytical techniques.

As well as the scientific lectures there was a small exhibition and Anatune were proud to be able to demonstrate the SIFT-MS – measuring the volatiles in the room in real-time.

Excellent feedback was received by attendees and the plan is to run the conference on a regular basis.  If you would be interested in being involved in the future please contact us on 01223 279210, or email enquiries@anatune.co.uk.

Please see this short video of the event from Anatune’s perspective.
