Agilent 7200 GC/Q-TOF, Chemometrics, GC/Q-TOF, GC/Q-TOF Interest Group Meeting, Genespring Mass Profiler Professional, Meeting, Ray Perkins, University of York,

The date for this years’ GC/Q-TOF Interest Group Meeting has been set for Wednesday 7th September, and will be hosted by the University of York.

The first GC/Q-TOF Meeting held last year was a big success, and there was a desire to make this an annual event.

The Agilent 7200 is a very capable machine that can be used in many different ways and there is ample scope to learn from the experience gained by users in different fields.

The meeting is aimed both at existing users of the instrument and analysts that are interested in acquiring this powerful high resolution, accurate mass instrument.

If you wish to contribute a talk or a poster at the meeting, please contact us now as we will compile the agenda over the next few weeks.

In association with this meeting, on the following day at the same venue, we plan to organise a one-day Chemometrics Training Day on its use for the interpretation of large GC/LS/MS data sets.

Although relevant to many GC/Q-TOF users, this will be of value to many other analysts who need to extract meaning from large numbers of complex samples, or who simply want to get a better understanding of how chemometrics works.

The day will be focused upon the use of Mass Profiler Pro, Agilent’s powerful chemometrics package.

If you wish to be kept informed of either, or both of these events, or if you want to contribute to the programme, please let me know, either by email: enquiries@anatune.co.uk, or call us on 01223 279210.
