BMSS41 Meeting Summary

What: The Annual Meeting will feature a two day format incorporating:

• unlimited (digital-only) poster presentations
• Inclusive Social Evening.

 

BMSS41 On-Line Poster Sessions
Posters will be presented digitally via the BMSS website and made accessible to registered delegates.

 

BMSS41 On-Line Outreach
All talks will be recorded and archived to a secure location accessible to registered delegates via the BMSS website. Recorded talks will be accessible to both in-person & digital only delegates from Monday 13th September, and will remain accessible for 28 days after the meeting.

 

BMSS41 Inclusive Social Evening
The BMSS Annual Meeting has evolved in response to members’ wishes to incorporate an inclusive social event.

BMSS41’s Inclusive Social Evening is co -sponsored by Anatune and will feature a selection of local beers and a traditional Yorkshire “Pie & Pea Supper” with an optional dash of Henderson’s Relish, Sheffield’s unique contribution to the culinary canon! It promises to be an extremely fun time!

Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) is a perfect venue for the society’s 41st Annual Meeting (BMSS41). Located close to the geographic centre of the UK, it provides an easily accessible venue with multiple affordable hotel options nearby.

BMSS41 COVID-19 Considerations
The Society has architected BMSS41 with provision for social distancing. The lecture theatres that we have contracted are generous and will facilitate COVID-19 social distancing if required in September 2021.
