New Additions to the Anatune Team!!
Everyone here at Anatune is very excited to announce that two new Account Managers have joined our commercial team in order to help us deliver our automated analytical solutions!
Adel Abrar joins us as Account Manager responsible for Northern England and Scotland, and Johnson Otuonye joins us as Account Manager looking after our customers in the Water & Environmental sector.

Adel Abrar, Account Manager, Northern England & Scotland
“After graduating with a BSc in Biochemistry from Queen Mary University of London in 2013, I joined Phenomenex as a Technical Consultant. In this role, I gained a detailed understanding of liquid and gas chromatography and perfected my method development skills to provide bespoke solutions, from sample collection, right the way through to data analysis. I managed Phenomenex’s academic accounts for four years, before progressing to a more senior role with a focus on food and environmental testing, as well as some product launch responsibilities.
After an additional four years, I join Anatune as Account Manager looking after Northern England and Scotland. In this role I will relish challenging myself to highlight the potential of automated sample preparation solutions as an answer to some of the challenges facing analytical chemists and labs today.
In my free time, I enjoy socialising and travelling to new places. I have avid interests in the study of ancient cultures and mythology, sociology and politics, and I also stream casually and arrange some larger-scale gaming tournaments.”

Johnson Otuonye, Account Manager, Water & Environmental
“With an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and a Masters in Analytical Chemistry, both from the University of Huddersfield, I felt equipped with the skills needed to solve some of the worlds’ challenges in the Water and Environmental Sector. This led me on a journey which included working with Yorkshire Water in 2017, and FCC Environment in 2019.
As an Account Manager at Anatune, I hope to help customers in the Water and Environmental sector benefit fully from the wonders of automated sample preparation and analysis, whilst also collaborating closely with them to solve their problems and present them with novel ideas.
Away from the office, my hobbies include cycling and reading, and I’ve also been known to spend my Saturdays playing competitive rugby.”
