High capacity and high throughput – Anatune’s 2015 Environmental VOC Analyser

Compared to older versions of our VOC Analyser, this new instrument gives improved MS performance, (including better sensitivity) and now has the automated addition of standards and surrogates included in the base system.

Over the years, our Environmental VOC Analyser has been one of our most popular products.

We have now brought this system up-to-date, running on the Agilent 7890B-5977 GC-MSD and using a dual head GERSTEL MultiPurpose Sampler, specially adapted to give 240 sample capacities.

With sub-10 minute cycle times, the instrument’s 240 vial capacity permits round-the-clock operation.

With earlier models, auto spiking, while very useful, was an expensive option.  Now it comes as standard, so no-one has to spend long, mind-numbing hours spiking samples by hand.

Anaïs Maury, who is our Applications Chemist, is in the final stages of the development of an upgraded method for VOCs in drinking water and we are indebted to Adrian Thomas of STL Bridgend for his valuable assistance and advice.

Next on our agenda are upgraded methods for waste waters and soils and, as with the drinking water method, we welcome collaboration from any customers with an interest in this area.

If you would like to see some of our data, or if you would like to be involved in the development of more VOC methods, please contact us.
