Automation, Camilla Liscio, GC, LC, Maestro, Sample Preparation, Workshop,

Here at Anatune we highly value automation.

Automation can help save time, efforts and often costs.

If we strictly focus on the standard analytical workflow, sample preparation and instrumental analysis are the areas where automation can help us the most, leaving more time for the data evaluation and delivery of the results which is becoming more and more complex and time demanding.

Most importantly, automation can significantly benefit the quality of the data that can be produced.  In fact automating the sample preparation can give better reproducibility, robustness and accuracy of the total analytical procedure.

On the 9th, 10th and 11th May we will be hosting one-day workshops at our Cambridge Laboratory, covering the main aspects of automated sample preparation.

By attending one of these workshops you will gain a good understanding of how automation works and what it can do for you.

Main focus of the workshop will be:

  • Introduction to automation mind-set and the GERSTEL kit.
  • Toolkit for successful use of Maestro software for automated sample preparation: Maestro Prep Builder, Maestro Sequence Editor and Maestro Scheduler (e.g. prep sequences and preplets, prep-ahead function).
  • Examples of relevant and novel automated workflows for both LC and GC applications.

The workshop will include both theoretical aspects and practical demonstrations.

You can find the agenda here.

The cost is £60 + VAT which is inclusive of all course material, lunch and refreshments.

Workshop places are limited and booked on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you wish to reserve a place, please email: enquiries@anatune.co.uk, or call us on 01223 279210.
