The Launch of the CF200 and Automated DNPH Analysis (A300)
Automated DNPH Analysis (A300)
Airborne aldehydes and ketones are collected by passing air through a cartridge containing 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH). Carbonyl compounds react with the DNPH to form hydrazones which are immobilized on the cartridge. These compounds can be easily eluted from the cartridge with acetonitrile and analysed by HPLC with UV detection.
After the required amount of air (to be tested) has been passed through the DNPH cartridge, 5ml of acetonitrile is passed through the cartridge and the extract is then filtered and injected onto an HPLC with UV detection. This procedure can be easily automated onto a MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS) using the DNPH solution. Using the DNPH solution, this procedure is now fully automated.
Please see this application note to find more information on this solution.
Anatune’s first in-line centrifuge (CF100) was launched in 2008. Since that time, over 20 have been sold mainly to centrifuge serum or plasma samples in various industries. The centrifuge speed is up to 3000 rpm for 2ml vials and up to 2000 rpm for 10ml vials. Up to 2 vials can be centrifuged at any one time. The CF100 also has the functionality to agitate the sample.
This new centrifuge is capable of speeds up to 4500 rpm for volumes up to 10ml. Rotor arms can be easily changed between 2ml and 10ml vials, and up to 6 vials can be centrifuged at any one time.
If you would like to know more about either of these products, please do not hesitate to call the office now on +44 (0)1223 279210, or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will be attending the Analytica Conference 2014 from April 1st-4th, and are launching these 2 new products. Please come by and see them in action for yourself at the GERSTEL booth A1.323.
