Sulphur Detection without the Hassle
The OI Analytical Pulsed Flame Photometric Detector (PFPD) is generally acknowledged to be the best sulphur selective detector available.
Sulphur selective detectors, in general, have a justified reputation for being unstable and tricky to use.
In contrast, the PFPD is very easy to operate and its response is rock steady. The PFPD is a very easy detector to work with.
Recently, I have been asked a couple of times about how the Pulsed Flame Photometric Detector works and this has reminded me of an excellent animated presentation that shows the operation of the PFPD very well.
