Clinical Vitamin D Method Development

So I’ve been working on the Vitamin D methodology this week, we are almost ready to start demoing the system to customers….at the heart of the methodology is a solvent facilitated protein crash, which is working really well. Following the centrifugation step to pelletise the proteins, an aliquot of the supernatant is put through a C8 solid phase extraction cartridge before injection onto LC-QQQ. I am at present running QC samples to validate the method, before I begin writing up an application note on the method.
