Final Guest Speaker Confirmed for the Life Science Workshop
Bryan White is the GC and GCMS Product Specialist at Agilent Technologies. Bryan has kindly agreed to guest present at our upcoming Life Science’s Workshop, being held on the 19th and 20th June 2018. Please let us introduce you to him…
Originating from Dorset, Bryan worked for 2 years at BDH Chemicals in Poole as a Laboratory Technician. It is here that Bryan was first introduced to GC with the analysis of liquid crystals.
Bryan then joined ICI in the Pesticide Research Centre at Jealott’s Hill, initially looking at quantitative MIR but then moving over to GC and GCMS support for the production of the main active ingredients.
After 11 years at Jealott’s Hill, Bryan joined Thermo Electron in a Field Marketing role as GC and GCMS Specialist (Europe) for 5 years and then 3 years as Direct Sales Chromatography. It was whilst he was at Thermo that Bryan first met Marco Koenen who was the owner of JSB in the Netherlands, and they decided to start up a UK arm specialising primarily in bespoke solution and high end chromatography (GCxGC).
He recently joined Agilent Technologies as GC and GCMS Product Specialist UK and Ireland.
Bryan will present on data analysis tools for Chemometrics.
