BMSS, British Mass Spectrometry Society, Cambridge, Churchill College, Conference, Dan Carrier, Molecules,

I have been keen to take an active role with the British Mass Spectrometry Society (BMSS) for some time and in November 2017, I was pleased to be invited as a co-opted member of the organising committee.

My experience and interests are centred around the analysis of small molecules, and I aim to speak-up for those of you with a similar focus; I am very interested in hearing your views on the topic.

The BMSS was founded in 1964 and it aims to bring together, develop and promote all areas of Mass Spectrometry. One of the major tasks of the committee is to arrange the BMSS conference which is a yearly event.

From 11-13th September 2018, the BMSS conference will take place in Cambridge at the Churchill College.  You will find a link to the conference on the BMSS website here.

Cambridge is Anatune’s home town and the venue is close to our HQ, so we are determined to put on a good show. To this end, we will have rented an entire room next to the meeting hall.

The picture above is of Sue Roach, Ray Perkins and I checking out the room we have hired for BMSS 2018.

Anatune has been a supportive of BMSS in the past, and now we will have a more active involvement. Watch this space!
