The 37th BMSS Annual Meeting is being held on the 13th-15th September, at the Winter Gardens in Eastbourne and Anatune will be exhibiting the latest developments from Syft Technologies’ Voice 200ultra SIFT-MS with a fully working instrument available at our booth for demonstrations.

A new Dual Polarity Ion Source (DPIS) was introduced earlier this year by Syft Technologies, which expands the available SIFT-MS reagent ions from the usual three positive ions to an additional five negative ions.  These additional ions not only enhance selectivity by providing multiple reaction channels, they also allow for the analysis of previously unreactive compound classes such as the acid gases and greenhouse gases.

Also, in collaboration with us here at Anatune, automated, ultra-high sample throughput is now possible by coupling GERSTEL’s MPS auto sampler system with the SIFT-MS.  By utilising the power of the MPS platform and GERSTEL’s Maestro software, headspace and gas samples can now be analysed rapidly and easily, even for difficult compounds such as ammonia and formaldehyde.

If you are at BMSS this year and are interested in seeing how automated SIFT-MS can help you, please visit us at our booth for a hands-on demonstration.  Maybe even bring some samples…?

We are also hosting a 2-day seminar in October on The Analysis of Biomarkers in Breath & Body Fluids by SIFT-MSSee here for more information.
