Selected Ion Flow Tube Mass Spectrometry, SIFT-MS, Susan Roach, Syft Voice200Ultra, Workshop,

SIFT-MS is a new and rapidly growing analytical technique that offers real-time, targeted analysis of volatile organic species in air.

We are holding a series of one-day workshops here in our Cambridge Laboratory, on 19th, 20th and 21st May 2015.

The workshops will aim to give you a good understanding of the capabilities of SIFT-MS and will cover the following topics:

  • How the capabilities of SIFT-MS compare with established techniques such as GC-MS
  • How it works
  • An introduction to the ion chemistry involved
  • Typical applications

On each day, the morning will be devoted to a classroom session and the afternoon will be spent in the laboratory where you will see our instrument working and you will have the chance to operate it.

The workshop will be conducted by an expert in the technique; Dr Barry Price of Syft Technologies.

For each workshop, delegate numbers will be restricted to a maximum of 6 people, so you will all have an opportunity to have your questions answered and access to the instrument.

The instrument you will see in our lab is the newly launched Voice200ultra, from Syft Technologies.

The price for the workshop is £40 + VAT per person, which is inclusive of all course material, refreshments and lunch.

To reserve your place now, please either email me at enquiries@anatune.co.uk, or call me on 01223 279210.
