Training at Anatune
Posted on May 21st, 2019

In collaboration with our partners, Crawford Scientific, Anatune is hosting two training events in June:
Seats are £195/person. Lunch is provided, as well as a course manual and a certificate of completion. There will also be a lab tour provided by Anatune, showing their excellent instrumentation.
Both Anatune and Crawford place an emphasis on employing and developing personable individuals defined by their high levels of chromatographic skill and a constant desire to improve. As such, we have a vast collective know-how to share with our colleagues in labs around the country, garnered through practical lab experience and working alongside a variety of analytical professionals.
These courses are designed with beginners and experienced practitioners in mind. Perhaps you, or your lab staff seek to improve your knowledge and practical application? Or perhaps you just need to brush up? Either way, these are training courses that can help you improve workflows and analytical outcomes.
Courses are delivered by Crawford Scientific’s Gilles Beck, an experienced practitioner and trainer across numerous chromatographic applications. Gilles has developed his knowledge through practical experience, in industry and academia, and working alongside Crawford Scientific customers. He thrives on working with others to improve their chromatography knowledge and methodology.
A little about the courses:
HPLC Method Development | 1 day course | Tuesday 11th June
Introducing the fundamental concepts associated with HPLC analysis, including:
- Hardware basics
- Modes of analysis
- Basic troubleshooting
- Column chemistry
- Important parameters of the mobile phase
- pH
- Buffer strength and type
This course is suitable as a refresher for the more experienced analytical chemist, or as an invaluable introduction to the technique for those with limited experience. It will help advance knowledge in your lab, no matter the instrumentation you use.
LC-MS for the Chromatographer | 1 day course | Tuesday 25th June
This is a distillation of critical knowledge pertaining to liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry applications and instrumentation, delivered in a one-day course. Learn the absolute essentials of the LC-MS technique and, using our unique multimedia examples and tutorial exercises, gather immediately implementable
knowledge and ideas.
